Sophiatown Circles is a cultural organization. We care for and curate from archives, enable encounters, and reflect on and produce new educational materials. We see all of these as practices of freedom. At the core of our work are aesthetic thinking and acting.
We work along themes. From June to October 2026, the theme that guides us is: ”New agreements”.
